Every young athlete deserves the chance to compete with confidence, but for many under-resourced youth in Elkhart County, access to quality, sport-specific athletic shoes is a barrier that holds them back. We believe that talent and determination shouldn’t be limited by financial hardship. That’s why we’re committed to providing the right shoes for the right sport, helping kids show up equipped, empowered, and ready to play their best. With every pair we give, we’re not just offering support; we’re investing in potential, building self-esteem, and opening doors to opportunity. Led by young athletes Emmanuel Martinez, Branston Finefrock, Ivan Blystiv, and DJ Montiel, Bright Steps Beyond is a non-profit founded by young entrepreneurs in Elkhart County seeking to make a change in our community.
